General Secretariat

The General Secretariat is the executive body of the Agency and the Secretary General is the top officer of the working units and investment support offices under the General Secretariat. The Secretary General is responsible to the Board of Directors in their duties. Bekir VAROL is the Secretary General of the Agency.

Biography

Bekir Varol was born in Nevşehir in 1985. He completed his undergraduate studies in Environmental Engineering at Middle East Technical University and his master's degree in Environmental Engineering in Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University.

Bekir Varol started his career in 2009 as a research assistant at Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University. He started working as an Expert in the Ahiler Development Agency in 2010.

With the establishment of AHIKA Investment Support Offices, Mr. Varol was appointed as Nevşehir Investment Support Office Coordinator and worked especially on the "Investment Incentive System" in this process. He continues to work as AHIKA Secretary General.

He speaks English fluently. He is married and has two children.
